Helloooooooo beautiful people all over the world. 😊😊 I'm so excited to have you on my blog again this evening for the 10th movie show. Wow... I'm sure you enjoyed last week's show. Thanks so much for making it a date with me again. I say a big WELCOME.

Now, before we start our movie, I have Gina and Kate at the bar as usual and these pretty ladies are waiting for you to make your orders. Please go get your popcorns, ice-cream, drinks and all before coming into the movie hall.

Our movie for today is a very interesting and really educative one, titled "MY WIFE AND I".

Lets put our minds together and be ready to learn amazing lessons from this amazing movie and guess what?
There will be free plastics of ice-cream and popcorn for the people who have decided to put their minds here. 😊😊

"My Wife and I" is a really refreshingly, funny and an entertaining movie.

"My Wife and I" is all about the story of Toyosi (Ramsey Nouah) and Ebere (Omoni Oboli), who have been married for seventeen years but i'll say they were living like an unhappily married couple at the verge of divorce.

They weren't always hostile towards themselves and they are always fighting about their different roles as a couple and also as parents.
However, for the sake of their twin teenagers, I mean their children, they decided to give their marriage another chance, maybe the last.

Still at that, they were still having issues. They were always fighting every time, morning, night, at parties and everywhere even on the phone.

Then, Ebere's mum (Ngozi Nwosu) concluded that their problem is a very spiritual one and recommends a famous man of God (Seyi Law) to pray for them.

The prayer of this man of God, turned the whole story around as they slept and woke up in each other’s bodies and were unable to switch back. OMG
This was bizarre but not scary anyways.

This switch made it very difficult to be who they used to be and they struggled so hard with this.
There was an awkward sexual encounters between them as Toyosi(In the body of his wife) didn't know what a sanitary pad is. LOL

There was another scene where Ebere (in Toyosi's body) arrives Toyosi's fish farm for a business deal with a highly important customer who prefers the use of indigenous language. As an Igbo woman that Ebere was, she found it difficult to communicate with her and almost loses that deal. Ooppsss

So they decide they have to manage each other’s lives and must be united to do this.
This is how they get back their groove, by constantly being in communication and trying to make sure their family and work lives don’t crumble because of this. As expected, they ultimately admit to their individual and collective shortcomings and fall back in love.

Oboli and Nouah, seem to be having so much fun with their unbridled portrayal of a couple trapped in each other's body as they bring their characters to life.

The movie elicits laughter and display the uncomfortable situations couple find themselves in while living each other's lives.

On the whole, "My Wife and I" is a movie that uses hilarious situations to provoke a re-evaluation of values in relationships, and deserves credit for trying something new in the Nigerian comic sphere.

The resolution is predictable, the infidelity twist is shaky and the 360 degrees change in their disposition towards each other is a tad drastic. My Wife and I leaves you with a knotty feeling of dissatisfaction in your stomach, even though it manages to be entertaining while at it.

Wow.... What a movie!
