RE: Movie Review: The Irishman

Good review! The scene where a "young Frank" kicks the shit out of the grocer was pretty funny.. But, all in all I was happy to see this movie on Netflix and definitely the highlight was Joe Pesci a man that never really wanted to be an actor and has for all intents and purposes been retired for nearly 20 years..

Not something I'll watch over n over like other Scorsese films but the man has essentially never missed the mark. Depalma, Spielberg and the other modern marvels of film cannot say the same.

LOL that scene was so bad as well as some places the CGI on the faces sometimes looks misplaced! I wonder why they didn’t just get a body double to do that scene it seemed so out of place

Lol Joe is so good you’ll forget he was that dude in home alone..almost

Scorsese has 3 other films in the work too so we’ll see! Hopefully they’ll be more on the nose than this one!

It just feels like a passion project where he could have one last run out with his old boys so I’ll give them that
