Satyajit Ray's another immortal scientist character Professor Shonku gets a big screen challanging adaptation

Professor Shonku is a fictional scientist created by Satyajit Ray (1921–1992) in a series of Bengali science fiction books published from 1965. And now this immortal characters, the mad scientist Professor Shonku, is all set for its debut on the silver screen.

Ray's favourite actor Dhritiman Chatterjee is tipped to play the role and the film will be produced under the banner of Shree Venkatesh Films (SVF) and will be titled “Professor Shonku O El Dorado."

This film will definitely having both Bengali and English dialogues depending on the nationality of characters and the places of occurrence as the shoots will take place in Kolkata and elsewhere in India and also in Brazil.

This big budget film will aiming to release in December 2018.
