Fear Breads In Darkness

So this past Friday, our official movie and pizza night we were faced with a hard choice between this film and something called A Wrinkle in Time.

We decided to watch this one based solely on the cover alone, and what a pleasant surprise that was. I really like the movie, as you progress through the film the entire motive and plot of the stories changes, which I really enjoyed. It's actually pretty difficult to review this, without giving away too much now that I think about it. I love finding these hidden gem's from time to time, and it's even more awesome when I have not heard a peep about it. I mean this was definitely not one of those movies where you are on the edge of you seat the entire time, it was more the mystery of the plot unfolding.

It was also pretty rad seeing Joffrey Baratheon's wife in something other than Game of Thrones, oh yeah I forgot she went up in a puff of green smoke. Please get upset if I gave something away because you still haven't watched Thrones, seriously it's like almost a year later, this is entirely on you buddy. This was pretty fun to watch compared to all that I have attempted to try watching as of late. This was different, and you know what they say about change. I do have one criticism, she didn't pull off the best acting as a blind person, you will see why when you watch it.

"Blind pianist Sofia (Natalie Dormer) overhears a struggle in the apartment above hers that leads to the death of her neighbour, Veronique (Emily Ratajkowski, Gone Girl). It is the start of a journey that pushes Sofia out of her depth and into contact with Veronique’s father, Milos Radic (Jan Bijvoet, Peaky Blinders), a Serbian businessman and alleged war criminal accused of committing acts of genocide during the Bosnian war, who is now living in London under political asylum. Blind to the truth, Sofia risks her life in search of answers, and is plunged into a shady underworld of corruption, violence and blackmail."

Sounds like my kind of film. Off the beaten path. I have seen 'A Wrinkle In Time' and I think you probably made the right call.

Thanks Mork. I'll put it on my 'Oh, I wanted to watch this list'.
