| I think you can tell immediately that it is not a big Hollywood production because it manages without many effects and other unnecessary stuff. What's more, the director plays the main role and otherwise as well as everything has selbst.Also one could say it was a matter of the heart . And I think that comes in the pictures also terrific. Coline Serreau has played in other films and made a very good documentary about the agriculture of today. I do not know her but I think she was a great personality. The film makes you think, think about life, your own life and its quality. Things everyone should have thought about. | Ich finde man merkt sofort das es keine große Hollywood Produktion ist da er ohne viele Effekte und sonstigen unnötigen Zeug auskommt.Dazu kommt das die Regisseurin die Hauptrolle spielt und auch sonst so gut wie alles selbst gemacht hat.Also man könnte sagen es war eine Herzensangelegenheit.Und ich finde das kommt in den Bildern auch grandios rüber. Coline Serreau hat noch in weitere Filmen mitgespielt und noch eine sehr gute Dokumentation über die Landwirtschaft von heute gemacht. Ich kenne sie zwar nicht aber ich denke sie war eine großartige Persönlichkeit. Der Film bringt einem zum nachdenken, nachdenken über das Leben, sein eigenes Leben und dessen Qualität. Dinge über die sich jeder einmal Gedanken gemacht haben sollte. |

I watched this movie for the first time a couple of years ago. In my opinion this is a great movie because it makes you think about life and the way we live. Great points. I love their way to call their home, cause water is a great ''common denominator'', so it connects almost everything (:
