Why do Critics HATE Bright (Netflix Movie)?
The short answer is money, the reason majority say this is because something like Star Wars The Last Jedi which got a 49% on rotten tomatoes from the general persaon and still going down but the critics were saying it was "The best Star Wars movie since Empires strikes back"which is utter bullpoop! But personal opinions asside, the reason many say money is a major factor is because if critics have negetive views to a movie and is a reliable figure to allot of people, companies want profit without anything getting in there way, they want to maximize profit and don't want to lose any consumers, companies know this so they "bribe"critics by inviting them to exclusive events for example a company like disney wouldn't give a invitation to somebody that said negetive things about "Star Wars The Last Jedi" instaed they'll give the invitation to somebody that fanboyed there product so the positive reviews makes people buy tickets to see the movie maximizing profits. How this relates to Bright is that Netflix probably didn't pay anything to the critics and thats why the critics were harsh on the film.
This might sound strange but many people are also thinking that the reason why Bright has been getting negetive reviews from the critics is because of one word "Hollywood" because since Bright is a blockbuster not created by hollywood which means that they cannot control the film and you know were most of the critics are at and who are they working for? You name it, Hollywood!
Me and many others agree that Hollywood is behind the negetive reviews of Bright because Netflix are trying to go against the monopoy and Hollywood hates this. Hollywood dosen't want Netflix as a competition as that would mean Hollywood would have to not only make quality products but also have to come up with original ideas which means that would require allot more effort. Personally I saw Bright I could honestly say it was so refreshing, Yes you can argue that there were some racial politics in the film but it wasn't in your or some preachy SJW film that Hollywood mkaes nowadays. The point is that the reason why Bright isnt 'Bright'with allot of critics is simply because of "Hollywood"
Now don't get me wrong there are flaws with Bright but Star Wars the Last Jedi even with way more flaws got 93% and after that day, I cannot trust critics anymore!
