5 movies that will open your mind! part 2
Another 5 movies that will open your mind!
1. The Thirteenth Floor
An IT specialist creates a system that allows one to find themselves in a truly credible virtual reality. She modeled New York from the 1930s on the thirteenth floor of a skyscraper. But before she had passed all safety checks, the young scientist decided to come in for a while in her new reality to have some fun, but ....
2. The Fountain
Three stories in three different moments - stories of a person's selflessness. And each story deserves a separate film, and each one has to get an Oscar for sincerity for love
3.The Truman Show
Although the title sounds circular, you will not see a bear carrying a bicycle. And there are no clowns. Only Truman is here who lives in the TV. There is no cruelty, tears, or cynicism in his world. You can sympathize with him or envy him. To cry or laugh. But you will certainly remember it.
4. Memento
Young Lennard suffers from a rare disease - a loss of short-term memory. He remembers everything until the day his wife dies. But he does not know where he slept last night and who the people around him are. People with such a diagnosis are in specialized institutions, but Lenny has a purpose - to avenge the murder of his wife.
5. Den brysomme mannen
Film of choice. For the frameworks we set ourselves by doing, as accepted, as everyone expects of us.
Most dream of working with a good view from the window, own study, apartment, for free relations. Residents of a strange city have all this. At first glance, they have no problems. They live without emotions, they even smile in inertia, not to share their joy.
And you? What would you add to the list?

I like Memento, So the "innovative" concept of filming out of sequence has been cliche for at least a few years now, but here's a film that makes it work far better than its been shown in a while.
Having read the reviews and talked to others who saw it, I thought that I'd go into the movie figuring everything out right away and declaring the concept unworkable. I couldn't be further from the truth. This movie does things to your head that are illegal in some countries. Portrayed (for all intents and purposes) backwards, it forces you to think in the same way that our lead character, Leonard Shelby (Guy Pearce being more brilliant than usual) does. Suffering from a condition that renders him unable to remember anything for more than a few minutes, he is searching for the man who raped and killed his wife. Since each seen lasts no more than 15 minutes before jumping back to the what happened before that, our perceptions are shattered in the same way.
Carrie-Anne Moss and Joe Pantoliano (both of The Matrix) put in great performances that leave you guessing; simultaneously endearing and revolting.
Overall I left the film trying to figure out what was what, and I'm still not sure. This film noir concept shouldn't work, but it does so wonderfully.
We are always looking for a good movie; are they on Netflix? We have yet to see The Truman Show we are a little bit behind the times :P Anyway, thanks for the list and descriptions.
These are movies to watch, they make you think. You will catch up :P . Thank you.
Looking forward! :)
I have only seen memento, and I think that it is one of my favorites. It's amazing what they got with so little budget, without special effects. I do not want to say any spoilers, but... who do you think is the killer? Hahaha By the way, inception is a must see
See the first part in my opinion is better. I totally agree on Memento. And my mistake for Genesis
