Following (1998) by Christopher Nolan (REVIEW)

in #movie6 years ago

Following by Christopher Nolan is a very fascinating suspense movie. The story goes like this.

Young writer named Bill begins to follow complete strangers whenever they go, he want to find out more about them, what they do, where they go and what kind of life do they live.

But one day, he runs into a guy named Cobb and he decides to follow him, but this Cobb guy confronts Bill and he confesses what he plans to do next.

Cobb is a con man, he is a burglar and he wants to show Bill what he is doing daily, his is teaching and revealing burglar tricks so he can build up a strong relationship between them.

The relationship between those two gets to a friendly connection, everything goes smoothly, but the thing is that this guy Cobb has hidden motive that will be revealed at the end of the movie.

This movie shows that Christopher Nolan is a true genius, fun fact is that he had no money for this budget, the movie was filmed with no more than 600$ which is insane amount of money for such an art as the movie “Following” is. Not to mention that this was the first movie by Christopher Nolan…

The thing is that movie directors with a lot of money can’t come up with such a movie, art has no price and Christopher Nolan is the living evidence for that. If you are suspense movie fanatic than this movie need to be on your next watchlist, the end will make you think for days, I really love it, one of my favorite movies. The others are some cool Hitchcock movies that I will be reviewing later.
