Reseña El Circulo
El Circulo (basado en la novela de Dave Eggers en 2013) es un thriller sobre una enorme compañía de tecnología. Con Tom Hanks y Emma Watson, se ocupa de temas puntuales relacionados con la privacidad y la rendición de cuentas. Hay un accidente de coche y una muerte fuera de pantalla, así como amenazas y personajes en peligro. Un acto sexual no gráfico se muestra entre los padres del personaje principal; la mujer está a horcajadas del hombre en la cama. El lenguaje es bastante fuerte, con un uso de "joder" y varios usos de "mierda". Varias escenas muestran el consumo social, y un personaje menciona el uso de pastillas para ayudar a mantenerse despierto. A pesar de sus temas relevantes, la película cae realmente plana.
La película está dirigida por James Ponsoldt, director y productor estadounidense conocido por Aquí y ahora (2013), Tocando fondo (2012) y El círculo (2017).
SINOPSIS
El día que Mae Holland (Emma Watson) es contratada para trabajar en el Círculo, la empresa de internet más influyente del mundo, sabe que se le ha concedido la oportunidad de su vida. A través de un innovador sistema operativo, el Círculo unifica direcciones de email, perfiles de redes sociales, operaciones bancarias y contraseñas de usuarios dando lugar a una única identidad virtual y veraz, en pos de una nueva era marcada por la transparencia.
