Kingsman: The Golden Circle Movie Review

Kingsman: The Golden Circle is the sequel to Kingsman: The Secret Service, a very violent but witty action movie about a young man recruited into a secret spy organization. In this installment, the Kingsman headquarters is attacked, forcing the team of secret agents to join forces with their American counterparts. Putting aside their differences, the American and British spies use high-tech gadgets as well as good oldfashioned lassos to defeat their enemies and (naturally) save the world. The movie has a star-studded cast, including Colin Firth, Channing Tatum, Taron Egerton, Halle Berry, Julianne Moore, and more. The first film had lots of extreme, stylized violence, as well as swearing and some sexual content; it's probably safe to expect the same from the sequel. But action fans and older teens will likely be eager to see it.

The adaptation of the script and the direction of both deliveries is by Matthew Vaughn, director, screenwriter and British producer who began his journey in the world of cinema with the hand of his friend Guy Ritchie with which he produced Lock & Stock (1998) , A thriller and black comedy that achieved much success. Thanks to the success of this work, both filmmakers premiered Snatch. (2000), another successful criminal-themed film and choral cast about gangsters and robberies in which Brad Pitt, Benicio del Toro and Dennis Farina appeared. A year later, Vaughn returned to work with Ritchie in the production of Mean Machine (2001), starring Vinnie Jones and Jason Statham, followed by the romantic comedy Swept Away (2002), starring Madonna. His first foray into directing was with Layer Cake (2004), a gangster thriller starring Daniel Craig, Michael Gambon, Tom Hardy and actress and model Sienna Miller. His next work was an adventurous and fantasy film entitled Stardust (2007), family film that has a cast headed by Claire Danes, Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert De Niro. Three years later he directed the hit Kick-Ass (2010), based on one of the comics of Mark Millar, it is an atypical superhero movie made as a black comedy that became one of the big hits of the year. Vaughn also wrote the script for The Debt (2010), a sober espionage thriller starring Helen Mirren and Sam Worthington. Also in charge of writing the script and directing X-Men: First Class (2011), fifth installment of the film series of "X-Men" based on the characters of Marvel Comics. The film became a blockbuster box office grossing $ 353 million worldwide. In addition, Vaughn has also collaborated on the script and production of X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), sixth installment of the saga and the most successful so far of the whole franchise.

WHAT'S THE STORY?
Gary "Eggsy" Unwin makes his debut as a full-fledged Kingsman. With a dramatic attack on Kingsman's headquarters in London, Eggsy and his partner Merlin will be forced to travel together to the United States. There, both will have to work with Jack Daniels, the director of Statesman, the North American version of the British espionage agency. When in their way they cross with a new villain, the trained spies must make agreement to save the world.
