The hunt - Review

The hunt is set in Denmark, in a small village in which everyone knows everything about each other. Main story follows a Lucas (Mads Mikkelsen) who becomes the target of mass hysteria after being wrongly accused of sexually abusing a young Clara in his kindergarten class. He tries to prove his innocence and through the whole movie we are observing how he tries to prove that and how the society is "Hunting" him by one lie of a little girl.
That's all I can say about the story of this movie because I want to avoid any kind of spoilers. Now I will write something about acting. Mads Mikkelsen playing Lucas did amazing job. The emotions that he showed, just with his eyes are indescribable. He has won the Best Acting Award for a reason. Secondary actors also did well. I need to commend a girl which played Clara. She played very well for her age.

At the end I want to approve a cinematographer. He showed the whole atmosphere of a Danish village.

Summary: "The Hunt" perfectly shows how people are cruel to themselves and how one lie of an ordinary person can destroy a whole life of another human. It's hard to watch. It should be seen.
