The Irishman (2019) - No spoiler

Today I come to comment on The Irish, so let's not go back to the matter and let's talk quickly about the good in this movie and I swear that I will give everything of myself to be able to explain well what happens here, because I feel that this by nature it will be something more or less difficult to explain, ok first the Irish production design is simply a wonderful thing, if the movie lasts three and a half hours but during those three and a half hours more or less 30 years of the movie and if you can make a netflix movie, but still the production is not affected by anything, they really put you in full and in those years where expenses were the best of everything at this time and not to mention cinematography really It is beautiful, not only because the color palette makes a lot of reference to the oldest gangster cinema, but also because it is very elegant and at times it has these typical movements of Scorsese films, although It is good that the whole movie feels like something of Scorsese but but you understand and the truth is that if you make this whole world look cool, elegant big and the same actors with their characters and also do an excellent job with makeup, be digital makeup or it is not great, I have had about 70 years of the same with Pacino and Joe Pesci and yet it is incredible, until then it looks weird but most of the time they look good, I do not know how much money you they will have invested so that they look younger and older than they really are, but the result is excellent, most of the time it is excellent, just like the 3 stars in this movie could.

I could say that Martin Scorsese is a very good director of actors, because in this film you can tell everyone acts well, some better than others, some put more effort than others, others a little more flavor, but generate the ones that stand out the most are our three main actors De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci, especially Joe Pesci, De Niro is the protagonist so obviously he will become the star of this whole movie and to be the daily actor of the Scorsese films shows that he has evolved along with his performance is one of the first, Al Pacino if he is playing an explosive guy again and probably people are going to give more account performance than the rest, but Joe Pesci and is a very interesting case because because guy was retired for about 20 years or so that he comes back after so long being retired to a scorsese movie with these two actors who are, were stars and who remain stars and that the ass impacts all of these gigantic actors, is that the guy is excellent, and with one glance the guy makes you the scariest thing in the world.

And obviously we can not ignore the direction of Martin Scorsese that shows everywhere, from the smallest things, to the most obvious things, of course personally the Irish compared to other films I've done before, I feel that this It is a bit short, but in general you can feel that Scorsese put all the effort here, you can put a lot of moments, a lot of memorable scenes, you can make art and practically with all the things that are put before you, it is that one is very accustomed to blockbuster movies are considered art a super epic fight, but here a simple shooting a simple, conversation of characters in car or when they are sitting quietly arguing and that everything looks beautiful, that feels fluid entertaining and that that dialogue between characters is intense, is that this is the work of a gigantic director, something that Martin Scorsese, if they can speak the garbage they want with respect to to everything he said about Marvel movies, but the guy knows how to do without that thing, they can't deny me because the Irishman would have been making those kinds of movies that he had been doing for a long time ago or a brave movie, because yes, the movie is gigantic is tremendous many are already considering it as the best movies of the year, but I would like to call this movie more than anything as a brave movie, why? first because this movie lasts three and a half hours which is basically the topic of conversation of the movie unfortunately, but good mainly because the movie is agile at times, but slowly in another, is that this change of rhythms of the film without it feeling as something alien or something weird is only one thing that Martinez and his lifelong publisher can achieve.

The sense of humor is a specific one that is not going to make you laugh out loud, but if it's nice to meet those moments, sometimes they are jokes, sometimes they are a bit silly discussions, but the gentlemen take it in serious and in general because the film shows that he is worrying more about telling us the story of these people, instead of impressing us with other things, and because this is something that everyone has told him, everyone could have I realize, it is that the Irishman feels like a close, I am 51% sure that this is not the closing of Scorsese films, but I am sure that it is the closing of Scorsese films in terms of the genre of Gangster or could also be seen as a celebration of the same genre, a genre that practically the visual, the famous but that was also very famous at the time and in general it feels as if it were a tribute to gangster cinema and scorsese cinema to at the same time and I am completely sure that anyone here who is cinephile than in the cinema, who sees any type of movies they like to experience I think this is going to be more than enough to make you fall in love with the movie and start recommend and consider it as one of the best movies of the year.
