That landlord trying to rent her the place is scandalous as hell. Reminds me of my last landlord who rented me a house where he had been stealing electricity from the power company for five years! When I called to have the electricity turned in my name they told what was up and then came out and took the meter off the house leaving me in the dark. The next day the water pipes froze. Needless to say I moved out and got all my money back. Slumlord.
