Captain America - Civil War

Who Polices the Police?

Fast forward a year or two and while the Avengers are safeguarding humanity there does seem to be a bit collateral damage, oops. Maybe Tony can pay for some of the repairs? Protecting the Earth does seem to result in the Avengers breaking a lot of stuff, on more than one occasion.

All the stuff the Avengers break results in political pressure to put in place "accountability", safeguards, etc. All overseen by the trusty politicians of course. I can see this ending well, or am I the only one that doesn't trust politicians?

Not all the Avengers of course believe that it is in the best interest of the planet to report to and oversight committee run by politians. I didn't think that Tony Stark would be for the government oversight and that Captain America would be against it. This is how the Civil War starts.

This movie adds a mature component to it by taking into account parts of the first Avengers movie and explores a few characters backgrounds a bit deeper. This results in a theme of vengeance in certain scenes.

It would have been nice to see more of the Black Widow, who isn't a fan? The cast generally bring their A game to the movie, hence it doesn't suffer from "the sequel is never as good as the original" syndrome. If you like the Avengers, Captain America or generally the Marvel Comics you should watch this one.

Watch this a refresher before moving on to Infinity War. It will totally blow your mind.

That is a good piece of advice.
