Jurassic World - Fallen Kingdom : My movie review

Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom - the latest dinosaurs fiesta is helmed by J.A. Bayona whom last brought us “A Monster Call” (in 2016). Both Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard reprise their roles as Owen and Claire. Their on-screen chemistry are still intact but not as sparkling as the first one.

There are a few action sequences which are quite intense with great CGI (especially the one they are running away from the erupting volcano) but overall this sequel seems to be down a notch in terms of its intensity and grandness/scale.

Too bad, the role of Jeff Goldblum is kind of negligible and the supposedly “twist” has no real consequences at the end.

Having said that, it’s still an entertaining summer blockbuster movie that will appeal to both kids and adults (especially for dinosaur fans).

No breaking of new grounds, just pure entertainment.

Oh, for the 5 seconds post-credit scene, you got to wait for quite long and it’s kind of hard to understand what it is trying to showcase, so some of you might not find it worth the wait! You have been warned :-)
