I just finished watching this movie in Iflix. It had the ability to keep me on the edge of my seat right until the end. I think it's a beautiful made movie. It's got a bit of an 'I Spit on Your Grave' and 'the strangers' feel to it.
Kristy is about a female university student, Justine, staying on the campus for the Thanksgiving break. Her rich roommate Nicole, who had originally planned on staying with her, goes to see her family last-minute in Aspen, leaving Justine and the campus security guards alone for the Thanksgiving holiday. After taking a trip to a rural convenience store, Justine runs into a group of young people who seem to want trouble, and upon returning to her empty dorm, finds herself in for one hell of a night.
Overall, this is a very well done thriller/horror movie. The suspense is maintained throughout the film up until the last scene. I found myself pulling for Justine, wanting to see if she could out wit the gang. Usually most of the protagonist in a movie like this always make stupid move. Not so in this movie, Justine(Haley Benett). She's very smart. I would highly recommend this movie to all horror fans.
