Ait-Ben-Haddou is fortified city (Ksar) in Ouarzazate province of Morocco

  Listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site as "striking example of the architecture of southern Morocco" and "an extraordinary ensemble of buildings offering a complete panorama of pre-Saharan earthen construction techniques."
