Star Wars franchise, Star Wars: The Last Jedi has crossed USD 1 billion

I love all star war film  "The Force Awakens " and I am sharing few interesting facts about new Jedi and star war collections ,that I found on news site on my android. After seeing below facts, I can't stop myself to share our steemit community. 

•  After five years and three blockbuster films, Disney’s Star Wars movies have earned more at the box office than the company paid for all of Lucas film. 
•  Star Wars: The Last Jedi just crossed a major threshold by grossing $1.04 billion at the worldwide box office, reports Deadline.  A Star Wars Story surpass it with over $2 billion and $1.05 billion in box office numbers, respectively. 
•  Star Wars franchise stands second in terms of overall collections behind Marvel Cinematic Universe.  The Disney/Lucas film’s movie is the fourth one in 2017 to cross the coveted milestone and the second produced by Disney after Beauty and the Beast. 

•  The next standalone Star Wars movie, Solo: A Star Wars Story, opens in theaters on May 25, 2018.
