It is true that in your lifetime, you would find a complete stranger and the two of you would have the most magical moment but would only last for a short period of time. Someone who is a great fit for your personality, your kind of conversation, jokes and how you see things on that exact time of your life. You are hopeful that the night won't end but you know that it has to and you just want to let that moment be like that for the rest of your life. Fairytales. Short but Perfect.
It is true that in your lifetime, you would meet a not completely stranger for he once became part of your life. You would then formulate the idea of what ifs, and maybe you could start all over again IF only you would have a parallel universe. But sometimes, life is just like that. You would meet in that moment when both of you were in great FROM location but couldn't be together to travel TO destination for each has its own joyride.
It is true that even you love the person so dear and like the idea of maybe it is possible but you have to let go because you have walked a long walk away from him. How nice it is to dream of those perfect moment in the past but complexity makes you choose to leave it all behind and just move forward.
Those were the three stages of the encounter with Celeste-and-Jesse-forever-and-ever.
I was thinking of Jesse for he left everything behind for the one that is not even there. I hope that he learned from the past, to be able to forgive and to accept that it was a beautiful moment of two persons meant to cross but not to stay, that he would be able to move forward and believe in the surprises of the universe, to find new love that will cease the pain, that will make him want to start all over again, that will make his heart comfortable, enjoying little things and don't want to leave.
First love. The one that got away. Last love. Those were part of your stories that have created the best mix of colors in your life. Those were the hue of your choices at the different stages of your life. Sadness is as beautiful as happiness.
The movie taught me to fight for the one I love and I want fearlessly. In case, it didn't end up well, no mistakes but lessons learned, stories to tell and memories to be cherished.
