Ghost in the Shell, short review of the movie
Tonight we watched the sci-fi movie Ghost in the Shell, based on the Japanese animation with the same name of 1995. The film is directed by Rupert Sanders and the main actors are Scarlett Johansson, Pilou Asbæk, Juliette Binoche and Takeshi Kitano.
Ghost in the shell is a sci-fi movie and it makes you think what will be possible in the (near) future when you are talking about cybernetics and robotics. This movie doesn’t address these philosophical and ethical questions but it came to mind.
In general the movie is solid. The cinematography is great and the whole atmosphere, cgi-effects and music are good. The characters and the dialogues however are superficial but this is being compensated by the convincing visuals. On a scale of 10, I give this movie a 7.
