I worked on this film in the special effects department. I have not seen the film yet, but would like to recommend you check out the original.
It's called "In Order of Disappearance"
You can find in on Netflix I believe! And made by the same director.

I mentioned "In Order of Disappearance" in my review and you are right, it is available at netflix. On research to Cold Pursuot I come across with it and had put it also into my watchlist. I think i will watch it soon.
