MAD MAX: a movie, a myth!

Today I want to talk about the movie "Interceptor" or rather "Mad Max" which is the original title, I find it difficult to understand why in Italy we have to change the titles of the films to fit them into our language, in this case by naming the machine of but I do even harder to understand why they never transmit them in the original language with subtitles, it would help to learn another language that would not be so bad. However, this is not the point for now, but the fact that this type of an apocalyptic movie took me straight away, as a kid I saw this movie for the first time and left me schocked ... desert, just four actors and the nice storyline told, really sad that in fact in a future where the civilization we are living has been swept away by atomic explosions & c. happiness can not boss around.
I remembered the cartoon "Ken Shiro" I did not miss a episode, and I found out later that they took inspiration from this movie.
I wonder why in what I am about to tell you there are several spoilers, so you are warned!

Four Chapters, all set in Australia: "Intereceptor (1979)", "Interceptor: The Warrior of the Road (1981)", "Mad Max: Over Sphere of thunder (1985)" and "Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) "... for now, why should another come out next year but there is not yet an official date and shootings have not begun, we only know that it will be called" Mad Max Wasteland". What a cool title! Starting with the fact that the original titles are "Mad Max", "Mad Max 2", "Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome" and "Mad Max: Fury Road" respectively. All four with the same name, but in Italy is national sport mess up with things and call the first two with a different name to be able to create confusion in our poor minds, confusing the ideas and not just a little. For the last chapter they had no idea what to invent and left it the same, call it "Mad Max: Furious Road" did not bother them and they left it like this. I hope it is a start to end this absurdity of translating the names of the movie because they really broke my balls, but they will probably surprise us by calling the next one: "Mad Max: Desert". The director of all four titles is George Miller. In all movie, the protagonist is "Max Rockatansky", best known as "Mad Max", in the first three movies the leading actor who plays it is Mel Gibson, in the last one there is Tom Hardy. Initially, even in the last one, there should have been Mel Gibson, but after the alleged scandals involving him on racism, insult, and beating the mother of his son , they decided to offer the part to Heath Ledger, who unfortunately died before the shooting began, so they jumped over to Tom Hardy.

The first chapter (88 minutes) tells the story of Max, who lives in a period of a serious energy crisis that has made petrol a rare and precious commodity almost as much as water, the planet has been transformed into a place of death and chaos. The policeman in the imaginary "Main Force Patrol" Australian federal police (who has become a cult for fans, and even has a dedicated website), trying to keep order in a drifting society and the law does not it has more sense. For most of the time, there are car pusuits on these endless roads; screech scenes and and a lot of blood spills. A crew of psychopathic motorcyclists kill is friend friend a policeman to, after which they kill his wife and the son, making the en plein, the good old man Max exterminates them from the first to the last.

The second chapter (95 minutes) is set a few years later, where land is now a desolate land devastated by a nuclear war; Max's life has gone completely to ruin and we say he no longer has a lot of motivations to live a calm life, so our hero focuses on his own survival. Since water and gas are essential, looking for it, it happens in a village in the middle of the desert, really cute, made with iron walls picked up here and there and as an entrance door there is a bus reinforced with sheet metal. The poor people have both water and gas, so they are targets of" Humungus" predators, very funny crew who persecute them all the time, consuming a lot of gasoline with their cars running around their village, dressed as punk's 80s . Our legendary Max helps them get rid of them with a ingenious trick after making the precious for almost the whole movie not wanting to help him, as he thinks only of himself but at bottom is good and therefore helps them.

In the third chapter (107 minutes), the epic Max arrives at "Bartertown", a ridiculous town where the natural gas of porks shit is crucial as an energy source. At first he helps "Auntie Entity" (interpretated by Tina Turner) to take command of the village, but then disobeyes and exiles in the desert; half-dying is saved by a community of orphans who believe him as a God, living like prehistoric men in a village among the rocks, in this community they are all children except for a woman who instructs them telling him absurd stories, documenting them with some slides Obviously he does the precious one with them, but then start to like them and gains their trust, back to the village of Auntie Entity to free the community from that damned dictator.. They attend gladiator style epic fighting in steel cages, which I still dream of today so I found them superlatives.

In the fourth chapter (lasting 120 minutes) Max is captured by "Sons of War", followers of the new tyrant "Immortan Joe"; our nice Nazi joke mocks his people by throwing thema lot of water down from a mountain, with poor people waiting for nothing to get a pair of potters and fighting to succeed, he also has a harem of young girls, and one with old obese who produce "mother's milk" and are brought up with machines such as cows. Of this harem take part "Furiosa" played by Charlize Theron, she is a bad ass and decides to take the young girls and get them to run on a tank truck. Immortan chases him from his gang of fools, who carry the good Max around their car on a pole but after a thousand vicissitudes manages to escape and helps the harem to escape as far as possible but after having realized that there is no place to go, they decide to go back to save the community from Immortan tyranny, obviously not after making the precious again. As handsome as almost half a movie, Tom Hardy does not open his mouthbecause he has an iron mask that prevents it and when he takes it off, he says four words on the cross. Really spectacular, chasing all the time and absurd machines, if you have sleep watch it because it will definitely pass! The film also features Megan Gale, an Australian actress who is famous in Italy for having spun some years for the Omnitel phone company (now Vodafone).

Probably for how I told you, it may seem like I've been joking, and it's true, but I love all four movies, I love to joke about it, just it! Despite the fairly trivial plot they are all really fantastic!
That apocalyptic post is one of my favorite genres, although there are not many movies worthy of note.
