Hello friends cinephiles!. I present my retro-movie segment of today to relive those good memories of those movies and that marked a beautiful time.
Today I will share "Powder", is a US film de science fiction released in 1995 directed by Victor Salva and starring Sean Patrick Flanery, Jeff Goldblum, Mary Steenburgen, Lance Henriksen and Brandon Smith
Synopsis:
An albino child named Jeremy Reed and nicknamed "Powder", with paranormal powers related to electricity that explores the limits of the mind and the human body, at the same time showing his capacity for cruelty, and the hope that one day humanity will advance beyond technology and science.

Curiosities:
- The highlight of this film is the fact of the controversy about the dark past of the director Victor Salva, who had been convicted and imprisoned for sexually abusing a minor actor (12 years old), in 1988. When Powder was released, the victim, Nathan Forrest Winters, attempted to boycott the film in protest of the hiring of Salva by Disney. The film had a disappointing performance at the box office and, after the incidents, Disney has not returned to produce more Salva movies.
