Movie Review: Rampage (2018) - Fantasy / Science Fiction

Rampage is an interesting film for our generation, because once upon a time we were children and original works stand in an exceptional place in the memory of their 80's children. In the Commodore 64's where the luck of the lucky children is present, Amiga Rampage a cocktail of cookies that the 500s have consumed hours. I had a lot of hope from the effects, but now we are not at Jurassic Park, the CGI effects have turned into confection. Despite being an effect film, Rampage is getting what it is.
Obviously I would expect the visual effects to be much better, but the movement dynamics of the creatures are a bit distressing, and they do not feel the weight of those huge dimensions. George is better modeled, but I can not say the same for Ralph and Lizzie. Their step-by-step abortion is still going on.
For Gorilla George, the carer Davis is Dwayne Johnson for the box-office cinematographer Brad Peyton anyway! The partnership that started with Journey to Mysterious Island (Journey 2) and continues with San Andreas is crowned with this film. You also have little information about the size of the director from the movies I play.
It is not a Michael Bay, not even a Roland Emmerich, that transforms the evil (or legendary) story into an apocalyptic scenario that will stir up the mind of the audience with the effects. If we take a look at what he has produced with his means, we can consider him as a big bucket of Uwe Boll.

Rampage is a complete hamburger movie. Eat and forget (even regret for the empty calories you take). Average directing, average acting and average effects. It may seem delicious to you because it is one of the big choices they insist on asking in their Fast Food shops, but they do not have a lot of numbers.
The rampage was cute but it was a scarce game, and a player like that was appealing to the mass. The movie is going the same way and it only offers entertainment. Kurt Ralph has accomplished this in some moments, like in the slaughtered sequences, but the rest is ... A nice nostalgia for me to remind you of the game, let's see what you think? Good looking.
