CROUCHING TIGER HIDDEN DRAGON: SWORD OF DESTINY (MOVIE-REVIEW)
By using the sub-title "Sword of Destiny," the film is still tells the story of the struggle for the legendary sword called Green Destiny. After 18 years since the death of Li Mu Bai (previously played by Chow Yun Fat), Green Destiny re-stored in the House of Te-dwelling friend of Li Mu Bai.
World Martial raging. Followers Iron Way the less, in addition to the clans fight each other to each other to get a big name. The clan was a major named West Lotus led by Dai Hades (Jason Scot Lee) is very strong. He was eyeing the Green Destiny to stand on top of the world of martial arts. Previously he considers Green Destiny had disappeared.
He sent a young man named Wei-Fang (Harry Shun, Jr.) and his team to attack Yu Shu Lien (Michelle Yeoh) -Your friends of Li Mu Bai. Shu Lien managed to put out the attack with the help of a mysterious man with a mask on his face. Later known if the man was Silent Wolf (Donny Yen) Lien Shu-love in the past.
Failure Wei-Fang made him want to get back Green Destiny to the House of Te. At the same time, an official princess, Snow Vase (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) caught and had fought him for a moment. Green Destiny is in the hands of Wei-Fang. But Shu Lien arrived in Beijing earlier won easily. We then locked up-Fang.
Elsewhere, Silent Wolf prepare security forces for the House of Te and Green Destiny. The competition is made only produced four loyal warriors. Although little, his ability can not be underestimated. Proven in the fight sequences in the tavern with a bunch of bastard defeated easily.
The greatness of Silent Wolf indicated there with awesome martial technique. Casually, he cut down all his opponents. The other warrior with special abilities such as knives, shields, and iron armor shown was amazing.
The problem now comes in Hades Dai were eager to get the Green Destiny and expanded battle until towards Peking. Shu Lien, Silent Wolf, and four elected warrior must fight tooth and nail to maintain the House of Te and Green Destiny with their lives. Loyalty and their way of life as a warrior evidenced in these sacrifices.
Sword of Destiny "was adapted by pentalogi" Crane-Iron "(fifth series) titled" Iron Knight, Silver Vase "by Wang Du Lu. Directed by Yuen Woo-ping and the script by John Fusco. Yuen still apply treatments similar to what has been done by Ang Lee before. Image capture through to beautiful sights wonderfully presented so beautifully; several locations in New Zealand an option.
Fight choreography in each sequence is presented with a very neat and so awesome. Yuen who has plenty of experience in the field of choreography renowned action films a lot influence here. Although typical Chinese style battle, but the packaging that feels westernized make it eye-catching. This is so exciting entertainment.
"Sword of Destiny" might not be up to surpass its predecessor. But the film is a great influence for me to love of many elements in it despite feeling a lot of holes in the plot. The most I can not divert all watch "Sword of Destiny" and its predecessor is the beauty of the Green Destiny that steal the show.
