Dark Phoenix itself was released in the United States on June 7, 2019, a week earlier before airing in Indonesia.

This film tells the story of Jean Gray (Phoenix), played by Sophie Turner who has superpowers. However, Jean unintentionally used her strength and caused her parents' car accident and caused her parents to die.

Finally, Professor Charles Xavier is played by James McAvoy, taking Jean to a school. It was there that Xavier blocked Jean's memory and helped hone Jean's psychic abilities. Until finally, one day there was the destruction of the world caused by extraordinary solar energy. X-Men responds to this danger and intervenes to save all astronauts.

However, in that event, Jean was stranded and absorbed all the energy into his body. Although Jean survived the destruction of the world, the mental block that Xavier implanted in Jean's body was damaged and strengthened by the extraordinary power in Jean's body. Jean's strength makes people around loved ones injured and even die.

The character of Jean in this film is enough to make the audience feel sorry for the loss of loved ones because of the accidental use of the power that is in him. The story of this film is a bit sad, but it is also quite tense when the destruction of the world to action in several movie scenes.
