Cracking looks like an adventure for sure. Mother nature will show her power and we must follow our instinct when she does. Good call to turn back. Pictures look stunning, can't wait to eventually visit the far north 💯🐒
Yes it definitely wasn't a wasted day, despite turning back. The north west is a special place. But make sure you stock up on fuel!

I have never really been Scotland onlyEdinburgh and Glasgow so think a wild camp cycle ride trip is in order. I am in planning stages at the moment with every intention of going this summer, finger crossed hey!💯🐒
