I'm going to sound like an old granny now @natubat, you should not go hiking on your own in the snow!;);) Must have been really hard going with those shoes and freezing as well, quite the adventurer you are!

Thanks @lizelle! Actually you sound like my sister :) I felt safe on my own, as the hill is so close to the busy main road! And it didn't feel too hard going - just exhilarating and lots of fun!
