Let's go down where the trail doesn't
Here's a shot looking down Mt. Massive's east ridge from the summit (14,421 feet). There's not much of a trail on the east ridge, but people hike it now and then during the summer, and it's actually the preferred route during winter due to the minimal avalanche danger.
Out in the valley on the left you can see Turquoise Lake. Leadville is hiding just left of center below those mountains on the horizon.

I wouldn't mind going to Colorado, but I think I'd rather go skiing out there...
The skiing is nice, too. Especially since it's winter now :D
I'll have to post my pics from Niseko, Japan, on here. That was a fun trip!
Please do that :) I was in Japan once, a few years ago -- mostly just in the Tokyo area.
Oh! I just remembered. My second post was about the Meiji Jingu shrine in Harajuku.

Nice -- I am almost positive I went to that shrine when I was in Harajuku. That front gate is hard to forget.
Tokyo is tons of fun, I want to visit Tottori prefecture eventually.
someday i will be there!
The mountain is not going anywhere anytime soon. I'm sure it will still be there when you visit :)
