#MOTU - Inspector Scootadget searches for Brain - Where is the Dog Squad?

After wielding his pork sword 'Enchanted Sword' and scarring away what he thought were Wanderers, the Inspector was very pleased with himself. Being 6 beers short of a six-pack, the Inspector was also oblivious to the fact that he had accidentally executed Leech with his helicopter hat gizmo.

Finding his way to Windmere would be tough, particularly with his obvious lack of brainpower, so the Inspector set out to find his faithful and cluey companion 'Brain the dog'.

Striding through the forest, the Black Lion and the Inspector decided the best place to search for their most auspicious friend was with the infamous dog squad let by Hong Kong Phooey.

They waited for the sun to set and the full moon to rise and then they waiting. Deep in the distance they could hear the howls of some dogs punctuated by a loud ker-thump noise and a soft sniggering. The dynamic duo moved in the direction of the noise.

An hour later they stopped a short distance from the howling dogs and observed them from a distance.

Hong Kong Phooey was howling loudly at the moon and then proceeded to annihilate any tree within striking distance. The tree then hit the ground with a loud 'ker-thump'.

The sniggering came from a strange looking character that didn't seem too bright at all. It was the half-wit Muxxley the Wonder dog! He didn't look like he would pose any danger to anyone as he sniggered and shat himself quietly next to a tree.

There was also a third dog, Stitchybitch. She was a skinny looking runt who hadn't been fed for a while. She continually chased her tail and cleaned her doggy bits.

The Inspector, feeling that there three dumb looking 'mutts' couldn't be of any harm, slid down from the cabin of the Black Lion and walked towards Hong Kong Phooey. "Oi You" the Inspector called, "who's a good little doggy? Does doggy want a Schmacko?"

Hong Kong Phooey quickly bounded over to the Inspector and started humping his leg. This Inspector tolerated this as he needed some intel that the 'Phooester' could provide him.

Once Hong Kong Phooey had decided that the Schmacko was a better prospect than a leg humping, the Inspector asked him ifhe knew where his beloved Brain could be found.

The words had hardly left his mouth when the Inspector noticed a shrub moving towards him. "Who goes there" yelled the Inspector and out of the shrub bounded Brain. Always the master of disguise, Brain had been a piece of greenery all along.

Together Brain and the Inspector left the Dog Squad and climbed aboard the Black Lion. Now they had nothing to distract them and the Inspector had some brains on board, they strode through the Vile Swamp and arrived at Windemere a few hours later. It was now time for the threesome..... So they parked the Lion up for the night and sat down to plan their next movement and waited for the next announcement from Julia, Sorceress of Grayskull.

A hot, warm can of Pal awaited them and they tucked into the scrumtious meal, satisfied with the first leg of their journey...

Mmmmmm. Chicken and Beef in Jelly, our favourite.

Together again, this fantastic duo are sure to be successful in this quest called #MOTU.
