#MOTU - Inspector Scootadget and the Black Lion begin the Quest

With his head swirling from the vortex of the portal, Inspector Scootadget picks himself up from the grass and assesses the situation and his surrounds. Standing close by the Inspector eyes his faithful Black Lion and gives him the wink.

What to do next..... Suddenly a note floated down and landed at the feet of the Inspector. Suspiciously the Inspector picked it up and read it.

Rumour has it that Beast Man has kidnapped King Stratos’ and stolen the Egg of Avion—a scared relic that allows the bird people to fly. At present, their location is unknown, but my sources tell me they are being held in the north.

Go north from Castle Grayskull to Windemere. Be careful passing through the hot and humid Vile Marsh, as evil lurks in the swamps. Mosquitor and Leech are thought to reside there, building up their armies of evil swamp creatures.

Pay particular attention to avoid the once mighty Nightflame on the edge of Vile Marsh. It is haunted by supernatural beings, that is, those who fell on the battleground but whose souls are unable to pass into the afterlife. “The Wanderers” cannot escape Nightflame as they as they are trapped there by ancient Grayskull magic. Do not let them touch you or you will both die. The only way to defeat the Wanderers is with an enchanted blade.

This message will self destruct

And with a 'poof' of smoke, the note with the enchanting message was gone.....

What the heck do I do now, wondered the Inspector? Not being the brightest spark and a few sandwiches short of a picnic, the Inspector remembered that he had to:

1. Head North to the Vile Marsh
2. Get out his 'special blade' if he sees any Wanderers

The time had come to start the adventure....

Just then, the Inspector heard voices so retreated to the shadows of the Black Lion. A moment later, he spotted three beauties.

Could these be the Wanderers the message spoke of? Not wanting to take any chances, the Inspector opened his trenchcoat and wielded his 'Enchanted Sword'. Running towards the three ladies he heard them speak their names: She-Ra and KubbyGlimmer. The women turned and became fixated upon the 'Enchanted Sword' protruding from the Inspector's trenchcoat and began drooling. This split second gave the Inspector the time he needed to escape from these 'Wanderers'...

'Go, Go Gadget Legs'

Away the Inspector bound over the surrounding tall trees. 'Come back big boy' the ladies yelled, but the Inspector made the decision to retreat to the safety of the forest.

Unbeknown to him, the Inspector had stumbled into the Vile Marsh and found himself lost. As he took a moment to collect himself and stow the 'Enchanted Sword' back into its sheath and button up his trenchcoat, he was startled by something sucking on his neck.

Quickly spinning around he was confronted by the formidable Leech. Leech jumped forward and attached his powerful sucking jaws to the back of the Inspectors neck and began to suck the blood from the Inspectors metal bones.

'Go, Go Gadget Helicopter'

Suddenly, the famous blades of the Inspectors hat helicopter protruded from the Insepctors hat, began to spin and swiftly severed the head of the infamous Leech. As the head of Leech rolled onto the ground and Leech's body slumped to the ground, the Inspector rose into the air and flew back to the Black Lion.

He climbed into the Black Lion, activating this amazing beast and together, they strode off into the forest, North towards Windemere...

Will Inspector Scootadget make it through the forest and to Windemere?

Will the Inspector be able to keep his 'Enchanted Sword' sheathed?

Will the accidental slaying of Leech, earn the Insepctor an elusive 'Quest Token'?
