ETERNIA NEEDS YOU CAPTAIN PLANET - MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE BEGIN TO UNITE AGAINST EVIL

Captain Planet looked around. He couldn’t see the Planeteers. He searched back in his memory, remembering clearly all the adventures he had been on with the Planeteers over the years.

He heard a familiar voice.

'Captain Plantet, you made it!'

‘Gaia?’

‘Captain Planet. I am something like Gaia’s cousin, my name is Eter-Nancy. I have been charged with putting you in communication with Julia, Sorceress of Castle Grayskull. You have been drawn into this world due to the great and pressing need we are facing here. You will encounter both heroes and villians in this quest, and hopefully a great many new friends’.

‘That all sounds great, Eter-Nancy. But how am I materialized? Where are the Planeteers?’

‘In order to summon you semi permanently, Sorceress Julia and I combined you with a pure willing soul looking for adventure. You Captain Planet now contain the memories and essence of CHARacter wIZARD, who volunteered his spirit to help the transport through multiple dimensions across time and space.

‘That said, without Planeteers, you will not have full access to all your powers. You must find new Planeteers from the Steemian Realm, protectors of Eternia which can be given these rings!

‘Eter-Nancy, this is all great information. Is there any more exposition to get out of the way?’

‘Yes, quite a bit in fact. First, Sorcerous Julia passed to you through me this cryptic message about a quest’

Rumour has it that Beast Man has kidnapped King Stratos’ and stolen the Egg of Avion—a scared relic that allows the bird people to fly. At present, their location is unknown, but my sources tell me they are being held in the north.

Go north from Castle Grayskull to Windemere. Be careful passing through the hot and humid Vile Marsh, as evil lurks in the swamps. Mosquitor and Leech are thought to reside there, building up their armies of evil swamp creatures.

Pay particular attention to avoid the once mighty Nightflame on the edge of Vile Marsh. It is haunted by supernatural beings, that is, those who fell on the battleground but whose souls are unable to pass into the afterlife. “The Wanderers” cannot escape Nightflame as they as they are trapped there by ancient Grayskull magic. Do not let them touch you or you will both die. The only way to defeat the Wanderers is with an enchanted blade.

Along the way, recruit new heroes to help you on your quest – and be rewarded with precious and rare Tokens. These will be of great value during your quest.

You have seven days to reach your destination.

‘Alright, that doesn’t seem that cryptic, pretty straightforward actually, although with only seven days I probably will have to post more than once a week, huh?’

‘Most likely. Remember, there are other heroes of the cartoon universe here too, find them, and they can help you push the plot along!’

‘Thank you Eter-Nancy’

‘And take this MAP! It will help you with your journey! First you will need to identify where you are on the map though….’

Captain Planet, without time to consider much the philosophical implications of absorbing another soul, being away from Earth and being permanently summoned, wasted no time in launching himself into the air, flying off northward, scanning as he did for other heroes and potential Planeteers, as well as a 'You are here' dot, which would help him use the map.
