you have given a great walkthrough about how to enter as a racer
seems like a lot more expensive than i thought!
also iam surprised that there is no life insurance in this sport...

    There is a life insurance but you have to pay it as a competitor. That's all 'inside information' about rally costs that nobody provide. But here we have @adsactly... :)
