Red Bull Straight Rhythm and Foot injuries...
So the dust has settled on the Red Bull Straight Rhythm track and what an event it was! Musquin sealed the win for the second year running! He is certainly building some momentum going into the build up for Supercross next year... exciting times ahead :)
Unfortunately, not everyone had a good night... two such riders were Jordon Smith and Chad Reed.
Smith initially thought it was just bruising but it has been scanned and it has been confirmed that there is a fracture. Gutted for him as he was just starting to ride his best after a nasty tumble in the Supercross final in Vegas earlier this year.

"Well got some answers on my ankle the last couple days. Looks like I broke my navicular in my foot from casing the jump at Straight Rhythm. Going to have to take a bit of time off to heal up and get ready to go for the start of the season! I was starting to get back to feeling really comfortable on the bike again. Thanks to the team for having my back through it all."
It's a real blow to the KTM team as a broken bone usually takes a minimum of six weeks to heal... that throws his start to the 250sx series into question... I hope he can make it!
On the 2-Stroke class we have Chad Reed, who had a similar problem during practice and also hurt his heel. I posted about it at the time here and he has updated everyone as to the extent of the damage.
Nothing seems broken luckily but he is in some need of rest and healing time which also puts some doubts into his upcoming 450sx season. It looks like his puppys are helping him heal up :)
Heal up guys and please come back stronger!
this is part of game and ready to accept that unhealling!
