So the time has come for Garrett Marchbanks to make the jump from Kawasaki Team Green rider to fully fledged Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki pro squad rider. Mitch Payton has decided to give Marchbanks the chance at the big time and ride the Factory Pro Circuit KXF 250 for the upcoming Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.

Marchbanks is no stranger to the limelight though and has already added an impressive list of achievements to his stat sheet since joining Team Green in 2012 including the 2014 AMA Youth Motocross Racer of the Year. He also picked the 2017 AMA Amateur Motocross Racer of the Year along with no less than eight Loretta Lynn’s AMA Amateur Motocross National Championships, pretty good eh!

Marchbanks will line up for his first professional race at round one of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship in Hangtown. He will be more than ready to follow in the same footsteps as Austin Forkner and Adam Cianciarulo who both followed the same path with Team Green through their amateur years. He now gets to line up alongside them and I'm sure he will be relishing the chance to show them what he has in the tank :)
