MXGP of Italy - Lombardia - Timetable, Practice report and Track Video.

in #motocross7 years ago

So the sun has risen in the sky and we now have a beautiful sun baked track in the sunny Italian hills of Lombardia to set the stage for the MXGP of Italy this weekend. This is the first time the Ottobiano track will be used and i am super excited to see how it pans out, the track looks amazing!

So the practice sessions are under way and i am pleased to amnnonce that KTM are leading the way :) boom! haha ok ok... putting my impartial hat back on. KTM riders Cairoli and Herlings have both set some blistering times in both practice sessions, no real supprise for me as its Cairoli's home GP and Herlings loves sandy conditions. Cairoli has been very impressive though and it looks like he wants this home GP more than we realised!

As always starts are key in motocross which is possibly why Herlings has struggled to win more in his first season in the MX1 class. He has been a little bit sluggish out the gate so far and rumour is that these issues have been worked on and this did seem to be the case in russia.

As always practice times should not be taken as the whole view and we know some riders prefer to test out the track and find the lay of the land before twisting it fully open. Max Anstie though continues to make great strides in his first MX1 series though, and its exciting to see how his riding is developing. Who knows maybe the tables will be turned on Cairoli and he can push past the Italian to grab his first MX1 podium?

So now to the real business... How does the track look ahead of this weekends MXGP of Italy in Lombardia? Lets check it out and see what it looks like from Anthony Rodriguez view :)

haha yeah they need to be pretty big :)

Great pic! All flavors accounted for and we're off to the races! Thanks as always! Awesome!

Nice this post...

Thank you vote ... very meaningful to me and I hope to vote full ... hahaha just kidding...

It has finally begun!
My man Jorge Prado with the cool name, repping his team at 6th place haha.

6th place is no joke in this league mate, would certainly make most normal riders look like kids lol.

Go Go KTM! :)

:) yes yes yes

i love bikes but due to an horrible accident now i stay away from speeding and going extreme fast, be safe guys...

I am bad enough in a car i wouldn't trust myself on a bike lol, :)bet its great to watch.

You can find out when i post the races in a day or so :D

Look forward to it,enjoy the races :)

Clement Desalle is gonna win the next race probably!

He has the ability but im not sure he can challange here.

Who do u think has ability to win this?

Go Go Tim Gajser, he is realy good driver from Slovenia :) He is having bad sesson, last year was win after win

The Honda rider certainly is world class! Lets see if he can challange Herlings and Cairoli

A tremendous challenge. Not all are able to do it, only professionals can, they do so to be a very interesting spectacle.

great to watch :)

wow this is so scary to drive this bike. Have you ever tried this bike @b0y2k
