SO the time has arrived for a game changer event tonight at the third round of the Monster Energy Supercross 2018 season Anaheim 2.

AMA Monster Energy Supercross

"The triple-crown format will be implemented in Monster Energy Supercross for the first time this weekend. The premier-class riders will contest three main events that last for eight, twelve and fifteen minutes. The 250SX West riders, on the other hand, will have main events that run for six, ten and twelve minutes."

This event is going to be epic! There are going to be some serious battles tonight as riders adapt to the new format. For the first time they will have to bring everything to the gate tonight and not just once... Three times!

It looks like we have a full roster again in the 450 SX class as all the injured top seeds return for this and i expect they all have something to prove, lets check out the lineup.

Savatgy laid it down early but the pressure Adam Cianciarulo laid down on McElrath was a treat for any race fan. To me... it seems the evening has been left kinda light on content... I think this is to give the riders a break as the evening shift will be a long one indeed! Not sure how the fans will take this though. I know the fans at the live event will love this as they have something to keep them entertained all day but people logging in pay per view I'm not so sure... lets see i guess.
