Jumbo No Fear Vamo Honda have announced their MX2 team for next years FIM Motocross World Championship. Slot one was taken up, unsurprisingly, with Dutch rider Micha Boy De Waal. The second ride will be taken by the American rider, Marshal Weltin. This will be the first time Weltin will ride in MX2 after an impressive EMX250 season with Dub Racing.

"Coming into 2018 I am proud to represent Jumbo No Fear Vamo Honda. Honda has such a reputable name and I am excited to be able to work with them. The Vamo race team has been great to work with so far and we have gotten off to a great start. Everyone on the team is equally as motivated as me for success and I feel like we have a great fit together. I am ready to put in some solid work this off season in the sand here in Belgium. Argentina will be coming up fairly quick and I'm excited to show the team my work ethic and get some results for the 2018 season."

The reason also for the team name change from Vamo Honda to Jumbo No Fear Vamo Honda is due to no Fear and Vamo moving to larger sponsor roles in the team. This is good news for both riders as it will mean they will compete at all the flyaway rounds in the MX2 calendar. This will please Weltin who will want to make a big impact early on in his new MX2 career.
