It's been a hard year for the Monster Energy/Yamalube/Star/Yamaha Factory Racing rider Cooper Webb. He has not raced for over two months since a crash in the fourteenth round of the Monster Energy Supercross series saw him sidelined with a fractured tibia and fibula. This was after a rocky season with crashes throughout... Now however he is ready to drop back into the mix after an intense few weeks on his Yamaha YZF 450.

"Ready or not here we come. Beyond stoked to let everyone know I will be lining up at Southwick this weekend for my first race back! Even was able to find some sand in Cali to prep on. Excited to see all the fans and have some fun this weekend! Could keep practicing for a few more weeks to be 100%, but I wanna go race. The goal will be to get better each weekend!"

If Webb is back to full speed then he will have something to prove to the team after a rough couple of seasons since moving up to the 450s. He grabbed a couple of podiums last season but he needs to keep fit and steady on the bike to build his results. He managed to finish seventh last season but again with Barcia finding his form he needs to make a standout ride to keep his place on the team in my opinion. Let's see if he has any fire in his belly this time round :)
