Injury Update - Justin Barcia
Man, how harsh life can be sometimes... You go fast all day, kill it in practice and qualifying, rip out the holeshot... then bang... all over.
In these things you have to be very thankful though, sure it might not feel very lucky when it happens but it could have been BAD!
Barcia was out front and leading on lap one in the first heat at round seven when he bobbled and missed the triple and was forced to double. In racing this happens and can be recovered but when you are out front in lap one and you have EVERYONE trippling that jump behind you... it's not a good place to be! Thankfully he was not landed on fully as that would've been not only career ending but life threatening! He did everything in his power to stop this and it seems to have paid off, even though he was forced out of the event.
This is a huge blow for his season as Barcia was flying since joining the Monster Energy Knich Yamaha Factory team full time in the wake of Millsaps retirement. Barcia is a tough guy... expect him back soon :)

Monster is a very good and a dengrous game
Strength does not come from victory. The struggle is what gives birth to power. When you face difficulties and do not give up, that's the power.
