Dear class mate's
DEAR CLASS MATES
Did you know that;
-Some of us didn't further our education after secondary school?
Some of us furthered to tertiary level?
- Some of us have gotten married with or without kids while some have divorced and some are still single with or without kids and are still searching?
4)Some of us are still struggling with life while some are already settled?
5)Some of us are still finding it difficult to eat two square meals in a day?
6)Some of us have travelled abroad?
7)Some of us have gone back to the village due to difficulties in life?
8)Some of us have seen real hell and still facing hell?
9)Some of us are sick at home or in hospital?
10)After secondary school, some have died?
Let's just REMEMBER that life is TREATING each and everyone of us differently.
The fact that you are settled and doing well doesn't mean that all your classmates are on the same level with you.
So when ever you call or run into your old classmates, let the conversation be simple!!
The fact that we are still alive should be more than enough for us all to celebrate.
Let's STOP making our classmates feel less valued and less important just because we feel we're ahead of them in one way or the other.
I hope we all know that
Life is filled with ups and downs.
Life can turnaround.
Never forget that you once had the best school family on your secondary School campus
,
Remember how we all used to be happy together despite the petty squabbles here and there.
Remember who used to help you out in your weak subjects in exams.
What about those poor students who never hesitated to share their little food items like shitor, gari, etc with those of us who came from rich homes whenever we finished all our food before the expected finish time?
Remember that most of the successes we all had in all the exams we all wrote back in school were not just by our own intellectual efforts, but by the collective efforts of our fellow classmates.
Just remember how we used to fight for each other and even answered PRESENT SIR/MADAM just to cover up for other classmates in their absence in class or at assembly.
What about how we helped one another during the compound work days?
This is PAYBACK time just to show our underprivileged classmates some love now that we have succeeded in life and are in a better position to do so.
Let's stretch our hands and be a blessing to our fellow classmates in our own small way.
Life is unpredictable.
We all need each other's support in one or two areas .
