The law of the mirror: what you see in others is your reflectionsteemCreated with Sketch.

At each stage of our personal growth, we focus too much on ourselves. Instead, we could learn a lot from the people and places we trust.

For a very long time, stories have told us that what we see in other people shows us important things about ourselves.

This is the subject of many studies in human psychology. People say that the outside of us shows what we think.

A mirror that shows us as we really are.

We talk about the everyday situations we face when we don't like something about someone and feel ignored or looked down upon.

The law of the mirror says that we see what we don't like in other people.

WHY are we going through this? Today, we will talk about the goal and history of this law.

So the flaw we think we have is outside of us, not inside?
It is said that the rule of the mirror says that the problem we see in other people is "out there" and not in us. This is because our unconscious mind helps us believe this.

As a way to protect yourself, psychological projection involves blaming other people for your own bad feelings, thoughts, beliefs, or actions.

We criticise others for the same things we don't like about ourselves.

When there is mental turmoil or threats from inside and outside the person, psychological projection starts to happen.

When we feel like our physical and mental health is in danger, our mind rejects all of these traits, whether they are good or bad, and gives them to something else. We seem to put these fears on other people.

Projections are caused by both good and bad feelings.

We write about our reality without any filters for the rest of the world and add our own unique traits.

When two people fall in love, they take on some of our traits.

We project our reality onto other people.
Mirroring is when we say we "know" someone when all we're really doing is projecting our own world onto them.

In this case, we project our image onto the image that person has felt.

Being aware of how we put onto other people shows us who we are.

When we understand how our minds work, we can take responsibility for what's going on inside us and work on the things we want to keep or change.

Remember that we often don't see the opinion or subjectivity behind what our senses tell us as fact.

We give ourselves and others bad ideas about reality that make us feel bad when we deal with them or ourselves.

Meditation can help us make this famous border and shift our viewpoint so that we can use this natural resource—this project—in a healthy way that makes us happy on the inside.

Take note of this phrase: "observing says more about the observer than what we observe."
