How To Acknowledge Your Flaws Alone

in #motivation3 years ago

You must not be in denial of your flaws. If you are, then you're just making yourself miserable by dwelling on them. Yes, flaws make us human. And if you're not happy about those imperfections - which we all have, even the most attractive people - then you must take steps to eliminate them so that you can be happy.

Most people have different perspectives on how to fix imperfections. Some people hold that accepting our flaws is a sign of weakness. Then there are those who believe that accepting our imperfections is an excellent opportunity to grow and become better people. I'm in the middle of the middle ground. I believe that accepting our flaws is a great thing and a great opportunity to grow, but I also believe that it's not a bad thing if we do it because it means that we have accepted our faults and are living with them as a stepping stone to becoming the person we want to be.

I believe accepting your flaws is very difficult for some people. It's something that I've been through and I know firsthand that it can be very emotional. For someone who feels like their flaws are holding them back from living the life that they want to live, accepting them is the first step to letting go of that perception and moving forward. So don't feel guilty about this. It may take some time, but you'll eventually come to terms with what you've done to yourself.

While it's not easy to admit your flaws, I encourage you to try because it will be the only way to get past your insecurities and into the loving, positive attitude that you need to have in order to truly love yourself and be happy. Think of accepting your flaws as a sort of upgrade. Each time you find yourself having a negative thought or being frustrated by something about yourself, tell yourself that you're a new person. That it's okay, and you were never that way in the first place. Then push those feelings aside, because they're just that: feelings.

It's okay to be flawed. You were born with those flaws. You were created with those flaws and most likely even have some of your own! You just have to learn how to deal with them alone. Until you do, accept that you have your flaws and that they are something that other people have to put up with as well, because no one was perfect at birth.

The mistake that we all make is believing that we can only be accepted if we're perfect. If we believe that, we'll chase after that idealized picture of ourselves in our minds. It will keep us from recognizing the flaws that we have inside ourselves. We have to learn how to accept the imperfections that we have because if we don't accept them, then they will keep us from being true to ourselves.

There are two ways to deal with our flaws alone. We can either choose to ignore them, or accept them. Most of us are going to choose to ignore them, because acceptance seems like an easier option. However, accepting our flaws individually will be better for our mental health because it allows us to focus on them directly. If we can acknowledge them and learn to accept them, we can take steps to repair them. The more we focus on fixing them, the more we will develop mental blocks that will protect us from accepting more of what we have to live up to.

If we are going to accept them, we have to take action and we have to face our flaws head on. There is nothing easy about this, but it is an important first step. When you accept your flaws, you'll find it easier to deal with them in the long run. If we accept them and hope that they will just go away, we will find ourselves living with those flaws day in and day out. Instead of ignoring them, we should embrace them and work toward repairing them. Only when we have accepted our flaws completely, will we ever truly be able to repair them and move forward.
