Laziness from Motivation

IT’S A BAD THING!!,….well actually it’s not a bad thing
it just so happened that we often rely on it to achieve
something.
motivation is the reason for our actions in an attempt to achieve
what we desire, either an activity to perform better at something
and successful at it or just to try new challenges.
It is the wonderful feeling you get thinking about
what you decided to do at the moment and to emphasize “AT THE MOMENT” because it is temporary.
I know this sounds boring but try to read on
you might find something very similar that has happened in your life
in fact i think it happens to everyone. Let’s compare it to riding a bicycle,
Motivation is the action of getting on the bicycle, you sit, and nothing happens,
you’re just there not moving at all, stuck at one place, now that is not good
isn’t it? Now what we just need to do is to put our feet on the pedal and start.
At the start, I said motivation is a bad thing, it would be if we just drown
in the illusion that we will achieve something through motivation, now what will make
us reach our desired outcome?

HABITS, by doing the thing that we started
to do repeatedly through motivation and making it a habit. On the bicycle again now motivation
got you on the bicycle it is habits the keeps us pedaling, that makes it go forward,
keep on pedaling to reach the place you want to be. But something feels off,
it feels like were missing something, by just pedaling i think we would fall off
unless we have balance. What keeps our balance?

Discipline, by having discipline it is our own will power to persist on completing a task.
Habits are hard to get, especially when you’re trying to have a good habit, it is self-discipline
that will help us go through the process of making our Motivation into habits. To make it simple again
Discipline is what keeps our balance in the bicycle. This maybe be short and might sound easy but trust me
that there is no easy way into achieving something, everything starts hard, even waking up in the morning is hard
Just like riding a bicycle ,you fall down when you’re just starting to learn how to ride.

Just one additional thing
be adaptive, adapt to the changes that will happen, this is the easiest part, this is what controls where
we are going, It is the steering of the bicycle, there will be times
that you go to a dead-end, times that you will think that all of it was a waste but remember
you can always turn your bicycle around(being adaptive)Keep your balance(discipline),keep pedaling(Habits), you just need to steer

I hope this little message helps you in the future,

Get motivated, make it a habit, be disciplined and adaptive.

Get on the bicycle
Start pedaling
And get your balance
Steer properly
then go anywhere you want to be
