The Good Guy could be the Bad Guy

Take a good look at the above picture and tell me if you believe that guy truly wanted to help the other man out of the pit? Well, it is obvious, he doesn't want to help. He was only giving the man the impression that he is trying his best to help him. That is absolute wickedness. A typical description of a friendly enemy.

Why do some people engage in this act? Why not walk away than give someone in need of your help a false hope?

This is typical of hypocrites. Deep down in their hearts, they are full of anger and animosity, but they put up the gentlemanly attitude. They always want to be seen as the good guys, but in reality, they are not. They are wolves in sheep's clothing. Be careful when dealing with such individuals.

But how would you know the true intentions of the person?

The truth is, you may never know because people in this category are often seen as "the good guys". They are the ones you will want to vouch for. They appear more friendly than the good ones. They are the ones everyone sings praises for because they know how to create a good impression of themselves in the minds of multitudes.

Not all the "good guys" are truly good and not all the "bad guys" are bad.
The story of John
John and Mark were childhood friends, both graduated from the same college, but Mark was fortunate to get a good job first. While John was a casual staff in a small company. One day, John's company caught fire and he lost his job. He went to his friend Mark and narrated his ordeals. Mark felt so sorry for his situation, he gave him some money, consoled him and promised to help as much as he could.

When John left the office, Mark's colleague who overheard their discussion, asked him why he didn't tell John to apply for the vacant position in their office, he smiled and said it skipped his memory that he will call him on phone and tell him about it later, which he never.

The next day, the same colleague who seemed to become passionate about John's situation asked him if he told John about it, he said he did, but for some personal reasons, John does not want to pick up the job. And that was a lie. From time to time, he called John to reassure him of his support and gives him money.

However, John had this other friend Anthony whom he also told about his predicaments. He felt so sorry for John and asked him to join their social club because he believes he certainly will get a lucrative job by meeting other members of the club. After two months of being a member, another member helped John secure a good job.

When John began working and got juicy allowances he sang the praises of Mark for being there for him and the other guy for helping him get the job. Anthony was out of the picture in John's mind because he was not calling frequently or giving him free money. But he was the one who literally forced him to join the club as he was reluctant about joining at first. He was also the one who motivated the guy that helped him get the job to do so.

Life is always like that. The good guys help you stand on your feet and walk. The bad guys enjoy helping you crawl. The good guys tell you opportunities that will help you significantly if properly embraced. The bad guys give you crumbs and withhold important information from you.

It is not my duty to teach you how to start judging who is good or who is bad. The essence of my post is to let you know that some people you never knew are working behind the scenes for your good, are actually doing so. And some who appear very nice and kind to you are not whom you think they are.
