Resolve to be yourself
You must try to be yourself. Try to be the person you are meant to be. Why do I use the word 'Try'? It is because you need great effort to be yourself in a world that wants you to be like someone else.
Most people don't live their own lives, rather they live someone else life. They are what you may call 'pleased imitators'
Imitation will only earn you one reputation:
NOBODY
isn't it foolishness to live you life like someone's else? A life of Imitation is a life of limitation. You can only be your best by being yourself. You are born original. Don't you know that your peculiarity is second to none? The Bible says that you area fearfully and wonderfully made. You are unique in your own way, no matter what anybody feels about you.
Being yourself is the option for you. You can only be much of yourself or little of someone else. You can never be like t people you are imitating, no matter how hard you try. Why the invitation, when you are as good as the person you are imitating? Imitation will only earn your reputation: NOBODY
You are created an original. Don't recreate yourself to become fake. If you want to make a difference then you different. You must not blend into the crowd, if you want your voice heard. When you join this crowd you then become ordinary. It is at the point of pressure to join the crowd that you know who is great and who is not.
Don't do things because others are doing it. Trying to be like everybody will leave you insignificant. Can you image the world where everybody does everything t same way? If you refuse to be your original self, you will lose your value. If you want not relevant, it is an indication that you have refused to give yourself. Friend, nobody cares about your Point of similarity with others but everyday cares about yourself point of difference from others.
Resolve in your heart today that you will be yourself. One way to lose your worth and value is a imitate people. Imitation negates success and promotes failure. Live yourself the way God designed it to be.
