Mindful Moments: To This One it Makes a Difference
Appreciate the Little Wins!
It's so easy to get overwhelmed to the point of inaction. If you ever find yourself in one of these overwhelming times, I suggest taking a few moments to remember the Star Fish Story originally by Loren Eisley. I actually came across this for the first time in the movie Holy Man with Eddie Murphy many years back, but it definitely stuck in my head.
My Point...
Sometimes we fall into traps where if were not able to complete everything, help everyone, change the world...then it doesn't matter. Even when we logically know the effects we truly make, emotionally we can still be demotivated or give up.
In the grand scheme of things we are smaller than specks of dust in the eyes of the universe. Does this mean we shouldn't do anything? Say nothing matters? Of course not!
In the end, it's all about progressing yourself and others to be better versions of themselves! What seems like a small act could begin the butterfly effect to something way bigger down the road.
Don't get caught in the trap of trying to fix everything or everyone. Appreciate the Difference of Little Wins!
And of course the obligatory kitty pic!

Little things are the beginning to start something bigger, because something big begins with improvement-the little things @sykochica
Very well said!
indeed we cannot change everything or everyone, but we can make someone happy by doing something even it is small but it will be a world to others. Nice though @sykochica.
Appreciate you have brought this in to our notice. It's a true motivational thought, the self satisfaction we get by doing such a things will help to increase our happiness.
