From this definition, you can see that at any point in life, things happen with time, and time does not wait for anybody. There is no area of life that does not require time. It is time that determines how awesome one’s life will be.

Self-discipline start with time management. Time management is really life management. There is time for everything. This time cannot be saved or stopped. it can only be spent. Time management is the ability to choose sequence of events, being able to choose an event over another, choosing what to do first, second and not at all.

For one to achieve this, one needs to set the priority right. Having known this cannot guaranty you to use your time effectively. It will only serve as an awareness or a reminder that time management is the beginning of your discipline that will make you successful.

The effective time usage is hard work. Meanwhile, hard work in this contest is discipline. It is not something you can achieve immediately, but you can start by assessing the value of what you invest your time in.

In time management, you must assess the true value of everything you do. The time you invest on things you do, determines how you value it. You cannot say you value you career so much and you watch television several hours at home, or you value you family and spent much time hanging out with friends. The essence of time management is for you to discipline yourself, set some clear priorities and stick to those priorities.

You can consciously and deliberately map out the most valuable and important thing that you could be doing at any given time, and discipline yourself to work solely on that thing.

To be successful in life, time discipline is key.
