Vision Remains The Foundation
The establishment of a goals’ program is the way you can fulfill your vision. Setting goals is not a one time exercise. It is an ongoing discipline. Without a goals’ program, a vision is only wishful thinking.
Your goals will have to be constantly modified. While you are working on your immediate or short-range goals, you must be careful to keep your eyes on your long-range goals.

Your vision must remain permanent but your goals must remain flexible. Do not change the order. Far too many churches, businesses, teaching institutions and individual lives allow their vision to change and make their goals permanent. So often it starts with- a man then it becomes a movement, then a machine, then just a monument to the glory of past things.
You must have a vision, but that vision must be fulfilled by goals that work toward the achievement of the vision. A vision is the foundation for all success.
Remember that it is normal to have a life dominating vision that converts to life compelling mission but as time goes on, goals changes and develop.
