Why you will fail on steemit!

According to studies, people can only be motivated an average of 20-30 minutes for a new goal they have set themselves, which will require willpower and a long time of continuous work. After this time their willpower is exhausted, and they will give up. This phenomenon is anchored in 90 % of all people.

The reason for this is simple: Our mind switches to autopilot and tries to save energy.

The most difficult task in life is to stick to tasks and goals for a long time.

The interesting thing is, people want to see growth in their lives
and a lot them have a big picture of that they want achieve.

The problem is, that after a time their mind says: „Minimum effort please!!!“

It must be remembered that our mind will never do more than necessary.

He will always distract you from your goals because he is addicted to get immediate rewards.

We are addicted to immediate rewards!

But we are distracted by our smartphones, Youtube, Netflix, Facebook etc.

We let ourselves be distracted by these things because your Mind believes that we can at least feel alive for a short time and for this reason we will aim a short term reward.

It is not difficult for the first 30 minutes to stick to a task. But It is, after 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year, 1 decade.

The recipe for our success in life is

EFFORT

If you have set a goal some time ago, No matter what! Try to remember this goal and do it right now!

After some time you will notice that it costs you effort and you think I'm done, I don't want to continue. (For example to post on steemit etc.)

Then remember this video
which I have found on Youtube that describes the „40 Percent Rule“ of the Navy SEALs.

Whenever you think „I can't do it anymore, it sucks or I can't go any further. I'am done“ then realize that you are only 40 Percent done.

Just do it!

Nice speech ;-)
For me personally, the initial phase is the most difficult phase of all, I guess I'm very lazy and it takes me much effort to start with something.
When I had that effort and started something, then it goes very well until I get stuck or it becomes boring...
I haven't had time to watch the video but I will certainly watch it to motivate me more!
Thanks for sharing

Thank you for the reply guggerf. Yes to start with something cost the most effort but it is easier than we think. I think a good strategy is to start only for 1 minute and you will see that you come in the flow with the task. From this point you can motivate you with other tricks. (Like the 40% Rule)

This is actually a really good idea, thanks ;-)
Now I'm off, doing something from minimum 1 minute ;-)
